Well, we left Bucharest, Romania last Saturday morning,
October 30 and FINALLY arrived here in Zomba, Malawi! We had many days and
nights in a 65 passenger ‘charter’ bus. Yes, the quotes puts MUCH sarcasm on
that word…. Before that, we had a LONG flight to Africa and waited two days for
our bus in Johannesburg. I bet I smell pleasant! …We spent 6 hours at one
border (South Africa/Zimbabwe) obtaining unexpected visas, 8 hours at the next
border (Zimbabwe/Mozambique) doing the same thing, a night in the bus there
(HADES) and one night at the border of Mozambique and Malawi. I have had about
6 hours of sleep (4 on the last night at the border), if that, over the last
week and I am ready to CRASH!!!
The people here are very friendly and LOVE to smile and
wave, even in passing. I can’t wait to get to it and see our God open up His
heart in me for these people!!!
We will be working here in Zomba this month with, well… I’m
not sure who with actually…. You will find out soon!

It brings me home when I get to write replies in transit on my iPhone! (This is
being written in transit now.)
