Hello everyone!

It’s been a while since our last blog, but time has FLOWN by for us! It seems like yesterday that we received our final donation to make us “fully funded,” but the reality is that it’s been 2 months!

 

Currently, we are wrapping up our month of ministry in IRELAND!! It has been an amazing month and we would love to tell you all about it (as well as the last few months). But I want to hold off on a complete update to bring you an urgent need:

 
 

One of our teammates, Melissa Johnson (http://www.melissajohnson.theworldrace.org/), is from Nampa, Idaho. We have had the privilege of working / living / laughing / crying / you-name-it-we’ve-done-it  directly alongside her over the last few months. In fact, Stephanie and Melissa have become especially close. The cool thing is that not only has she been on our squad of 40 people, but she’s been on our team of 6 for a while now. We have gotten to know her well and are excited that we will have someone close to home who has experienced what we have on the Race.

 
 
 
 
 
But Melissa is in need of $2,400 to be fully funded. Adventures in Missions has been gracious in extending deadlines to keep her and a few others on the field. It appeared that AIM would let everyone stay on as far as the end of September, but we were just informed that everyone has to have at least half of their remaining amount by this Tuesday, or AIM will buy flights home for after debrief (very soon). That means Melissa has to have $1,200 in a few short days. In two weeks after that, she has to have the remaining funds in her account.
