God is Happy! Jesus is Happy! So that makes me HAPPY!

Happy,Happy,Happy!

We are about to finish 2013, and step into 2014. Every year, it comes to that time where we make our famous “New Year’s Resolutions.” The “I’m quitting soda, smoking, or sweets” and the “This year I’m going to get a gym membership(and actually GO) and lose weight.” While these resolutions are good, we must remember that losing weight or quitting bad habits will ever bring true happiness. Instead, we need to realize that true happiness comes from being in the presence of the God and that was the example that Christ lived out. Having daily encounters with the Holy Spirit and soaking in His presence, where happiness and joy will never fade.

Jesus was Happy!

“Jesus was full of Joy through the Holy Spirit.” Luke 10:21

He understood where Joy came from.

He knew the source(where it could be obtained).

He made the choice to constantly stay in the presence.

This year, my resolution is to be in constant Joy! Naturally, I can sometimes be a very negative person. I have been known to love sarcasm and complaining. There have been times where I constantly find myself buried in complaints, stress, and burdens. But that’s not my God, and there is no joy in that. Knowing that, this year I want to never leave His presence. God is Joyful! He isn’t caught off guard by anything that is happening in this world and he isn’t worried or stressed out. Nothing is stealing His happiness! So we shouldn’t let anything steal ours. My resolution this year is to constantly be in His presence, and to forget talking or wasting my time on things that are negative. But instead, to focus on the HAPPINESS that is promised to us, and that nothing and no one can steal.

Yes! Bad things may happen, but I trust and know God has the plan to work all things out. Whether they choose legalize this, or enforce that, or cancel Duck Dynasty(haha), it doesn’t steal His Joy, so it shouldn't steal ours!

My prayer for everyone this year is that we choose to constantly be apart of His Joy, and that we forget about everything else. That we make the choice to just laugh at the Devil's attempts, and be in His presence knowing that God is going to work things out because he loves us and we trust him!

God Loves You!

He thinks good thoughts toward you!

Sometimes we act like he “hates the world” but one of his most popular verse in John says “For God so Loved the World.” So lets get rid of that image! He's a father that does everything with a love tht is unconditional.

Find your happiness in the of the father this year. Make the choice to constantly stay in the presence. Don’t focus on anything that he isn’t worried or stressed about.

Live life in his reflection! He is HAPPY,HAPPY,HAPPY!
