Dear Friends & Family:

Over the past few years I have been working toward different goals in my life, but I’ve learned that they are far more achievable when I am in God’s will. As usual, in January, I set goals for this year; finishing school was a must for me because I know God has a plan for me in the Special Education field. But sometimes God puts our plans on hold and changes our route. I felt as though my plan was in his will, but his plans were far bigger than mine! This summer I had the opportunity to go to Tabora, Tanzania with our church. We led a women’s conference and taught the love of Jesus to children during bible school. This experience wrecked me and saved me all at the same time; it was a life changing experience! Little did I know it would pave the way and give even more conformation to my next season in missions.

This scary, out of my comfort zone, incredible opportunity called the World Race was God’s next big adventure for me.

The World Race is an 11 month Christian mission trip to 11 countries around the world. One of the unique things about the World Race is that it’s not only a mission trip but also an intensive discipleship program designed to launch my generation into our specific kingdom calling. Through the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restorative hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.

I am inviting you to take part in something much bigger than ourselves! You can be a part of this beautiful journey seeing what God will do in and through me on this trip. As I take this huge leap of faith in trusting the Lord would you consider supporting me in someway?

Prayer: Stop what you’re doing! Before you decide to send me an 18,000 dollar check or throw away this letter please pray. Pray for guidance in everything you do. Whether It be supporting me or something else, pray that God will open doors of opportunity for you to take part in building the Kingdom. I will also need prayer as I step into a calling that sometimes scares me. Pray that I will keep focus on the Lord. Pray for the people that I will soon be able to witness to and love like Jesus. Pray for unity and health so that my team can serve with everything we’ve got while in the field.

Finances: I will face many challenges all throughout the World Race, but as I prepare for my departure, one of my greatest challenges is my financial support. Like most other missions organizations, World Race participants are required to fundraise financial support. In order to leave fully funded in January 2019, I need to raise $18,700. This money will cover all of my field expenses for the 11 months I am away. If you feel God pulling at you to give here are ways you can contribute financially:
