Living Accommodations: Our whole squad lived together in two buildings on a beautiful homestead. The land we lived on belonged to the sweetest family. Babe and Mage Khumalo have been housing teams and other short/long term missionaries for years. They are strong believers in the work that we are doing and a day didn’t go by that they weren’t encouraging us in that. We had wifi (at a cost), a newly installed pool, toilets, and sometimes hot showers.
Meals: Meals were bought and prepared by us again this month. We did however have two African meals prepared by the Khumalos!

What is pool ministry? Sometimes on the race things get lost in translation or mixed up. Our first week in Swazi was PVT (parent vision trip) and those of us that didn’t have parents come spent a lot of time on the homestead. Ministry was very short and we did a lot of things quicker than they expected. One day we decided we would all spend time at the pool together. We ended up having an aerobics class and many many laughs. We decided we should invite locals the next time and call it pool ministry!
