Saturday June 1, 2019:

Boldness is the courage to act or speak fearlessly, despite real or imagined dangers. I immediately go back to a talk we had back in Nicaragua. We shouldn’t be living out of fear or stepping out of fear. God doesn’t give us authority so that we can just be a bunch of Christians living out of fear, but rather us never having that fear in the first place. We have access to the Holy Spirit that lives within us and Boldness is a characteristic imparted to us. Throughout Acts you see that is says; then he was “filled with the Holy Spirit.” They spoke boldness and they prayed for boldness. Even as they were being persecuted the disciples called on the Holy Spirit. The Lord gives us boldness especially when our objective is to obey and glorify Him. Spiritual Boldness pursues the truth, works to destroy lies and error, and speaks what is right regardless of how terrifying the action may be. I know the boldness within me because I have access to the Holy Spirit in me.

“Confidence in God comes through obedience.”

I want to continue to grow in this because it was once so far out of my comfort zone. Knowing you is life or death and I want to speak as boldly as the disciples once did in your name. I will continue to be bold through being obedient. Wherever you send me I will go. Thank you for lessons learned and the gift of stepping out for the Kingdom.
