Today is Wednesday, January 31. We leave here tomorrow. Our friend Moises, a school teacher, hooked us up with an hour of internet time at the local high school this morning.

I can’t believe 16 days of ministry in Aguilar is almost over. The time has flown by as we have come to love this little town. Most of our original plans fell quickly by the wayside because we never did get a translator. Talia and Annie, BriEllyn, Eric and Brieena have been awesome, but it is quite a stretch for them to translate . . . like a Sermon . . . on the fly.

Our days have looked something like this.

7:30ish- Wake up; Our girls walk kids to school.

8:00ish- Breakfast followed by quiet times.

9:30ish- Planning for the Children & Adult Services.

10:30ish- Hit the streets for prayer or visiting neighbors.

Noonish- Lunch

1:00- School is out at 1:00 so the fun begins. We hang out with children every day. They take us to their favorite hideouts- mostly the river and the waterfalls. Or we just hang out with them at the schoolyard playing ball or throwing Frisbee or doing “nails”, etc.

4:00ish- The team meets one last time to go over the services.

5:00- Children’s Service.

6:00- Adult Service.

7:00ish- Cooking dinner and hanging out, reading, editing pictures and blogs and maybe watching a DVD.
