I wanted to write one more blog about the Philippines despite the fact that I’m now in Cambodia.  The organization we were working with (kids international ministry) in the Philippines is absolutely amazing.   The staff has a real heart for the children.  They treat all of the kids like they are family.  Day after day they continue to pour Christ’s love into every orphan living there. The kids get good food, a good education, and are taught Christian values.

Although this is a wonderful ministry they struggle financially. They are supported monthly by anyone who has a heart for what they are doing. Unfortunately some of their donors have dwindled due to the economy.  So I wanted to share how you can help.

How to help:

1. You can support one of the orphans education for $40 per month.

2. You can donate whatever amount the Lord puts on your heart for the orphanage. This can be monthly or a one time donation, although they have a greater need for monthly donations.

3. If you are unable to help financially but still have a heart for the ministry you can pray that God will continue to provide for their every need.

If you are worried about where your money will go don’t. I have first hand witnessed how God is working through this ministry. Your donation will be buying food, electricity, books, and many other necessities.  Just make sure to write Malaybalay orphanage in the memo line so that it doesn’t go to a different orphanage.

If you feel called to help you can send all checks to the address below or go to the website below and donate online.
