So far we have been to 7 countries and in our 8 one of the race. I haven’t also written a blog about all the ministries we have partnered with so here is what we have done in each one:

Panama:

We worked with the Caballero family in the mountains of Rio Sereno. We worked on the construction project they had been in the process of building. We did everything from mixing concrete, painting, installing walls, installing concrete board, and even some work on the coffee trees. There profits from selling the beans help fund missionaries from their country. The house project that we worked on is for the indigenous workers to stay in during the harvest season as they only have shacks otherwise.

Costa Rica:

This month we partnered with a community organization to help change the atmosphere of the town known as the Las Vegas of Costa Rica. We were used in a wide range of areas to help change the town. We did prayer walks throughout the town, evangelized, did homeless meals, helped create a website, and built a park for kids to spend their time at.

Nicaragua:

We worked with REAP to reach the people of Granada and invite them to know the Lord. Most of the time spent here was in the form of evangelizing through a couple different ways. We worked with others pastors in the area and did door to door  evangelism. We also spoke at the sporting events held on the ministry grounds. We did a couple work projects around the base as well

Honduras:

We partnered with Legacy Of Hope for this month of ministry. This is a foster care ministry that works with the government of Honduras. They provide care for the kids that are in this system and phase of life. Although we didn’t do much on this side we still helped the ministry being doing a lot of work projects around the property. Our main task was to help prepare the new building that would house most of the kids. We built items for this house, painted, and helped tidy up the rest of the ministry areas.

Malawi:

We partnered with a pastor in the capital of Lilongwe that was spreading the word of God through many different avenues. We visited and spoke to a women’s group, spoke to kids after soccer practices and even spoke to workers in town that had a Bible study weekly. We also got to hold and interact with toddlers that were in a Crisis center a couple times.

Zambia:

We worked with a organization that was enriching the lives of the community around them. We spent a lot of time interacting with the locals by just sitting down and talking with them. We also got to speak with the youth after playing soccer with them for a couple hours in the afternoon. We also spent time at a school teaching the kids to give their teachers a little break during the time we were there.

Lesotho:

We worked with the Africa 4 Jesus ministry in Lesotho. We spent time evangelizing with the shepherds in this mountain community to encourage them in their walk in the faith. We also spent some time doing work projects around the base as well.

Cambodia:

We are working with a ministry that is helping teach English in the villages around Siem Reap. We also are teaching young adults English here at the base we are staying as well.

This is just a quick overview of the ministries I have been involved in and if you’re looking for a more detailed idea check out my previous blogs to see if I wrote  any more on that country.
