The final part about training camp that I loved was I finally found out the others in my team that I will be working with as well as living with. These are some of the most amazing people that I have ever met. Right after finding out who was going to on our team we went out to dinner. I figured there would be a period where things were awkward while we got to know one another better and the realization sets in that these are the people that I will be spending every moment of the next year with. However, there was no time wasted getting to know one another and within minutes we were joking and laughing like family, including jamming to music full blast on the way back to camp and dancing in the parking lot.
My team consists of our team leader Anton Lewko, Cheyanne Hardy, Laura Novak, Chelsea Saiz, Cathy Carty and Amanda Grimwood. I cannot wait to live and serve with all of these amazing individuals and learn from them. I know they will push my comfort zone and help strengthen and challenge my relationship with Christ. Please lift all of my team members as well as myself up in prayer. I cannot wait till launch in September!
