about a week ago we reached the 100th day of the race. at that point we were a third of the way in and now were almost at the halfway point. we live with our sweet team leader, allie, and another team on our squad (389) this month! the 14 of us are divided into two little houses and we do almost everything together. community has been a blast. we cook, eat, clean, watch movies, and run to the market together. were one big happy family.

from our first day of school

ministry has been constant. we teach english at a school called Fangchanupathum in Northern Thailand. we live in a suburb of Chiang Mai called Fang and we actually live on school grounds with some of our students! my heart truly goes out to each and every student. i get to teach 21 english classes a week and oh boy it is hard. yet, it is so so fulfilling. we each have a unique ministry because we all spend time with kids from different age groups that range from 7th through 12th grade. i can feel their love.

my sophomore classes

i apologize for being so absent with my updates, we have 8 more days of assigned ministry at Fangchanu, then we start to move to Cambodia the first week of January. the faculty at school has us preparing many Christmas festivities. we have decorated the teachers lounge, prepared many songs and dances for an upcoming holiday party, and we will be preforming the story of Christmas to all 1,400 students on Christmas Day!

i am still taking in donations for my mission!! i am so grateful for all the financial support i have gotten! it would be a Christmas miracle if i become fully funded soon!!! if you feel led to support my mission you can donate at the top of my blog.
