I am a 22 year old paediatric nurse, currently living and working in Manchester, England. I’ve been here for about 18 months, and currently work in one of the largest children’s hospitals in the country.

I grew up in the Forest of Dean, before moving to Oxford for University (Not the really clever one, the one where they teach nursing!). I lived there for 3 years before moving North to start my first job.

I’m a big kid at heart, I love nothing more than a Disney movie sing-a-long, making a mess and generally causing mischief.

I’ve been blessed enough to travel to Uganda 4 times to serve in schools, hospitals and churches. These trips, the country and its people, have made a huge impact on my heart and my life.

It was along those red dirt roads that I first discovered a passion for travel, new cultures, and for serving others. I saw real prayer and passion for Jesus in the midst of adversity. The type of passion and conviction I hope to bring to everything I’m called to in my life.

The World Race is my next big adventure, between now and summer 2017 I will travel to at least 11 new countries, meet new friends, laugh, cry, and passionately seek God in all that I do.

I’m going to document this exciting new adventure here, and hope that you will enjoy experiencing it with me.
