Camp Emek Beraka
Camp Emek Beraka is a lush green valley surrounded by mighty mountains still carrying little specks of snow.
The hills are decorated by big trees covered with bright green leaves.
The clouds gather in the day and late afternoon they burst and fresh water drops from the sky and soaks the earth.
The birds awaken the dawn and sing a song of praise to the creator.
God created all of this; Bosnia I Hercegovina!
I am back from the mountains and I can testify that I met with God like Moses did on Mount Sinai. The view from the top of the mountain was amazing I saw how God changed young peoples lives and how he gave hope to a broken generation.
Our prayer for the camp was;
Isaiah 43:18-19
But forget all that – it is nothing compared to what I’m going to do! For I’m going to do a brand new thing see, I have already begun! Don’t you see it? I will make a road through the wilderness of the world for my people to go home, and create rivers for them in the desert.
And this is exactly what Gos did.
We were part of a long term team: 8 South Africans and 10 locals.
We had 4 camps: Youth Camp, teenagers, kids and adults.
We had many adventures: The sudden cloud bursts that flooded many tents, jumping from trees, games without borders and early morning prayer at the source of the river.
I believe that everybody that came to the camps did not leave untouched by God’s Love.

God is pouring out is love over Bosnia I Hercegovina and He is healing the land. His desire is to make all things new.
