Nicaragua has
been an awesome experience. We actually ended up staying an extra month here. So we have gotten really close to our contacts and our community here. LOVE THEM ALL SO MUCH!!!!!!
Our team was
a new one this month so we are still getting to know each other. The ministry that we have been working with
is called New Song in Candelaria, Chichigalpa, Nicaragua. It’s an amazing ministry with amazing
people. It’s our first month with
contacts who are American, which I’m not going to lie, makes things a little
easier as far as communication is concerned.
We have an extremely free ministry this month. We basically are told to go where our gifts
are and pursue the Lord and what he has for us this month.
I have been
getting really close to some of the youth girls. They are awesome. They are so animated and fun and have such
sweet spirits and are so hungry for the Lord.
We have been playing sports with them, dancing with them, and just being
friends with the youth here. Youth here
ranges from 14 to 21 years old and they come from all different kinds of
families. Most of them live with their
grandmothers or aunts and can roam around as they please. With that being said, it’s so amazing to have
some of them just hang out here all the time.
It’s a place where the love flows and it’s not conditional.
Please keep
praying for my family here – my team. We
are doing great, but are still learning about each other and learning how to
love and challenge each other. Just keep pray for our hearts and that the
Lord continues to shape and mold us to who we are to become in Him. Also just pray for this community. There has been tragedy and loss here. The Lord is molding and shaping this place for His glory is it’s so evident what he is doing in hearts here. Just keep praying!! Love you!
