Hi Everyone!
I’m currently sitting at the Atlanta airport waiting to take off for Istanbul, Turkey (where my squad and I have a two-hour layover), then we’ll be off to Belgrade Serbia!
I just wanted to thank you all again for supporting me spiritually, emotionally, and/or financially!! It is such an amazing feeling knowing that I have people supporting and encouraging me in this journey. As I said some pretty emotional “see you laters” to my family and friends this past week, I was reminded of the outpouring of love you all have shown me and why I initially said “yes” to this adventure. Without each of you, this dream may not have been possible. I am so, so thankful for each one of you! Thank you so, so much for believing in what God is doing and for covering me in prayers and encouragement!!
I am so excited to serve and love on people in Serbia! My team and I will be serving in Sombar, Serbia for the first month. Sombar is a cute town near the border of Croatia and Hungry. We will be working at a local church doing all sorts of stuff – leading worship, preaching, teaching English, and building relationships with the local community and church members. We are so excited to dive into community with each other and to work to advance God’s kingdom!
Over the next 11 months, I may have limited access to internet, but I am hoping to post a blog every few weeks! My team and I will also be spending lots of time in prayer together and we would love to pray for you!! Please email, text, or Facebook message me anytime with prayer requests!
I would love if you would pray for safe travels and peaceful minds for my squad and the other squads leaving the US today. Thank you again so much for all your prayers and support!!
