We did it. It is month 11. I am one month away from going home… this can’t be real.
Ministry :
As Squad Leadership, we felt the Lord putting a lot of things on our heart for the squad in this last month. The biggest calling we felt is to BE the church. J-Church. This month is no host month for all teams. We are all in Durres, Albania seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit every day. So far ministry has looked like intercessory prayer, planning weekly squad gatherings, community outreach and evangelism. We also have some ideas for trash clean-up and worshipping in the park. But who knows where the Lord is going to take us this month, all I know is that I can’t wait to say “yes.”
Community :
For the last month of the race, I will be living and acting as a team with my co-leaders Abby and John! This will be our first time ever doing ministry together and I am so excited. We booked an Airbnb for the first and third week of the month but the second week, we are leaving room for the Spirit to move and see where He takes us. Since the entire squad is in the same city, one of our goals is to have one-on-ones be part of our ministry as well and seek intentional time with whoever the Lord lays on our heart.
Prayer Requests :
Please pray for re-entry into life in the US. I have been praying over this for months but I am still fearful of the unknown. I am fearful of not having community when I come back to Ohio, no leads on jobs, and when/ where I will be returning to the mission field. There is a lot on my mind and I would love for you to join me in prayer on this.
