Sweet beginnings in Chile
Embracing the fact that my feet will be consistently dirty for at least the next two months and loving it. The sun gently peaking through the sun roof at 6:30 am waking me up and creating in me the morning person I’ve always wished to be. Cuddles of our sweet little pup running around the house & licks on the face showing you the unconditional love that can only be received from a pupperoni. A kitchen table to sit and laugh around, eating food prepared by our sweet host mom. Big bear hugs and belly laughs from our host dad. A grassy backyard to run around & play in & the the towering snow capped Andes Mountains painting the scenery around me. A hot cup of tea in the morning sitting in the sanctuary with golden light seeping in through the stained glass cross window. Sleeping in a room with four of my best friends for two months & embracing the comfort of sleeping in the church knowing that Jesus is tucking me into bed every night.
We’ve been here literally less than 48 hours and I can already tell that this place holds some magic and is just what my soul needs.
