Heyo! I am SO glad your eyes are even skimming this blog – I am about to set forth on the most INCREDIBLE journey, and I invite you all to share it with me!
If you don’t know me super well, my name is Claire. I am an 18 year old girl and I love life – hehehe! I am about to graduate from Westwood High School in Austin, TX, and WOW am I pumped to see what gifts God has wrapped up in my future. My childhood was filled with love, from an astoundingly kind mother, deeply caring father, and the two best guys in the world (my older brothers). My family has always full-heartedly supported all my endeavors, from dance team to academics to summer camp, and now missions! Some parents probably wouldn’t be all too excited about their daughter putting off college for a year to travel the world and share the gospel. It’s a pretty unusual thing to do, but they have only encouraged me.
Now if you DO know me, you probably already know that Jesus is ma MAN. He is my Father and best friend and boyfriend and everything in between. He gives me unconditional love, indescribable joy, and seriously just EVERYTHING GOOD. I know exactly what I’m living for – to love God and love others. And THAT is why I want to go to India, Guatemala, Thailand, and hopefully many other places in my lifetime: to invite as many people as possible into this wonderful life with Christ.
So here I go! Send me your prayers and thoughts, and I will be praying for all of you as well!
