Wowee has time flown by! It’s already February, and that means 8 months till take off!
We found out our countries this past week, and with my original squad I would be going to Malaysia, Guatemala, and Botswana. When I saw my route, my heart instantly felt pulled in another direction. I felt God calling me to join a new route, and a new journey. After a lot of prayer I decided to join route 2 and travel to Thailand, South Africa, and Nicaragua. Soo it’s official my journey to Thailand, South Africa, and Nicaragua begins September 5th!
This whole journey is such a whirlwind, and boy; do your prayers help! Sometimes I sit there and try to wrap my head around being gone for 9 months and it terrifies me, but in those moments of fear I feel God the most, whether it be friends sitting and talking with me; a random text; or sometimes just feeling God tell me it’s going to be okay. I know that I wouldn’t be able to go on this journey without your support, and I’m so very thankful for that.
Lately I have been praying for a community to back me up, and I have truly received it. From a wide range of Young Life, to TEC, to just some awesome new pals the support I have gotten lately has been amazing.
This past week I sent out support letters, and if you didn’t happen to get one just give me a call or shoot me a text at 507-469-5781! Also I have been selling some really rad bracelets that I would be more than happy to let you check out if you just want to text me. Distance isn’t a factor in this fundraiser, I’m able to mail out any desired bracelets, also in the end half goes to my trip fundraising, and the other half goes back to the people of the Philippines who made these beautiful bracelets, for their food, clothing and other necessities.
My fundraising deadline of $6,000 is coming up in May, and I would really appreciate prayers that God may provide for me financially, as well as donations; if you feel called to do so! I also would ask for prayers of a continually growing community, and for strength in my decisions for my summer plans. You are all so amazing, and I’m so blessed to have you all in my life!
