Life has been super busy this past couple of weeks! Between work, training camp, being sick, and my nephew being born, I haven’t had a lot of room to breathe and reflect on everything.  

Training camp was busy, cold, wet, but awesome.  My number one take away was that the Holy Spirit is alive and active.  His power descends upon christians when we are willing to accept it, but only when God ordains it.  It is not something that can be demanded.  When you are in a posture of readiness, God can do some amazing things!

My team was also formed – TeamRelentless! I am on a team with 6 other beautiful young ladies from all different walks of life.  We are going to be spending the first few months together ministering with and for each other.  

 

These young ladies will be my family for the first part of the race! In order from front to back: Carlie, Sara, Meg, Me, Misha, Mollie, Ashley.

On a side note – my nephew was born this past Saturday! 8 pounds 4 ounces, 20 inches of screaming awesomeness 🙂 Here is a picture because I know all of you want to see him:
