I wish I had something really creative to write…you would think that with an English degree I would have something exciting…I guess this is what all my professors called "writer's block". Let's see…where to begin…

After I graduated from A&M in 2009 I began working for a Christian camp out in the Hill Country. It has been an incredible 2 years serving in this ministry. I have been humbled witnessing hearts changed and the Holy Spirit moving in the lives of the campers and counselors. After two years and wonderful memories, the Lord has called me once again to follow His path, which led me to apply for the race. Moving out to camp, for this city girl, was quite a change, but the Lord has truly blessed my time here. The Lord has changed my heart in mighty ways. I have a heart for God's people and a heart for bringing hope to the hopeless and sharing Christ's love with everyone that the Lord places in my path. The Lord is calling me to do something more, do something BIG! I am looking forward to see what the Lord has planned for the next year!
