I go to launch on Sunday! I am so excited and can’t wait to be back together with my squad and team again! Man, it is hard to believe that it has been a year since I heard about the world race and started asking God if this is what He wants me to do. The time has flown by and here I am 3 days from getting on plane headed towards Atlanta to spend 2 days with my team and parents before I get on another plane headed to Chiang Mai, Thailand. I am so excited, yet still am anxious and nervous, but I know this is where God wants me to be and He is constantly filling me with His peace.
These past seven weeks between training camp and launch have been good, but I have been feeling like there is distance in my relationship with God right now. Training camp was so awesome I grew so close to Him, but I still have a lot of growing to do and I can’t wait to get out on the field and experience Him in new ways. I don’t want to be filled with doubt or apathy any longer. I want to be filled with His love, joy, and peace.
I am beyond blessed to be able to go on this trip and so thankful for the prayers and support you all have given me! Here are a few things I would like to ask you pray for:
- Safe travels for my squad and the other 5 squads that are about to launch
- That God would give me confidence to share the gospel
- That my relationship with Him will grow so much more deeper
