Hi there! I would like to preface this by saying that I’ve never tried to write a blog post before in my life so go easy on me- I’m no professional. And I also have almost no idea how to use this blog, but I’ll figure it out, I promise- haha. I’m just gonna tell you a little about who I am and all that good stuff.
So to start off my name is CJ and I’m from Georgia. I have 0 siblings, so the thought of living with so many new people for a month is a little overwhelming but SO EXCITING! I’m currently 17 years old but by the time I leave the country (eeek!! so exciting just to say that) I’ll have turned 18. I loveeeee music, singing, and playing guitar and I’ve been so extraordinarily blessed by the Lord in that aspect of my life- ahh isn’t God just the best? And after all this time that I’ve spent praying about where He was taking me next, who could have guessed it would be here? Not like sitting-on-my-couch here, but to a DIFFERENT COUNTRY. Y’all. That. Is. Crazy. Stuff. I’ve never really even been outside of the Southern United States and then all of a sudden God said: “go.” Complete insanity to me, really. But definitely no coincidence.
Anyway, there’s a little bit about me and where I’m at right now in life, still wondering why He is so good to me. Thanks for taking the time to read this and thanks for praying for me and this crazy little journey I’m about to embark on.
