After finding our little princess, my team and I felt that our work in that place was done, so we
headed back the way we had come. We took a lunch break at The Varsity
then headed to a poorer part of town in search of the run-down houses
that a few members of our team had envisioned. A couple of us felt very
uneasy about getting out and walking around in that part of town, so
we just drove around and prayed for a while. As the time to depart back to
camp grew closer, we settled on parking near one of the public subway
stops to talk to a guy sitting on a bench, which another of my
teammates had seen in her vision while praying. A couple girls on our
team talked with him for a few minutes while the rest of us prayed
nearby over the community and the man and our teammates talking to
him. This young man also prayed to accept the Lord before we left.

Altogether,
I believe that, during our ATL ministry experience, our team learned valuable lessons about hearing and
following the voice of the Lord, the blessings and rewards that come
from seeking Him and being faithful, and were able to discover some
important aspects about how we interact as a team in order to help us
work together better over the coming year. Praise be to the Lord for all
He accomplished that day, and thanks to Him for letting us be a part
of it!

There
are other lessons I learned and experiences I had throughout the
week, but hopefully just sharing the parts that stood out the most to
me during the week gives you a decent idea of what took place. I pray
that you have been blessed (and not overwhelmed!) by getting a glimpse of what transpired at
camp! I may make another post before leaving the country,
but if not, you’ll hear from me when my squad and I reach Ukraine! If all goes according to plan, we will be departing in a series of flights from New York on June 15th-16th and arrive in Ukraine by the evening of June 17th. Please keep us in your prayers as we embark on this journey!

“Ask
of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the
ends of the earth for Your possession.
