Hello family, friends, and peeps!
My name is Ciena! I am so excited to be on this awesome journey, and I am hoping you guys will join me! Some things you should know about me: I absolutely love my family and friends. Seriously, they are the greatest supporters I have ever meet. I am beyond bless to have them in my life! I love being there for others, and helping others in need. I work currently in the education field as instructional assistant for the Special Education team. An it is the most rewarding job, to be able to help students succeed and strive to be better. I love the team I work with and they deserve so much and more. Lastly I love Jesus (super cliche, I know)! Words can not express how much I love the relationship I have with God. He has shown me what true, unconditional, authentic love means. An that alone is enough for me.
Which leads me to why I am doing this!
I have had this awesome opportunity to travel 11 countries in 11 months. Which is crazy to think about and not gonna lie, I am little scared. But I am quickly reminded that I have a God that is for me and not against me, that His love and grace will care me through this. I was asked by one of my friends “What season do you think your in?” It started to make me think. The season I am in is, I want more, I want more for my family, I want more for my friends, I want more love, peace, and forgiveness for the world, and most importantly I want more people to know who God is. I am ready for more. I asked God ” Give me more, use me and shape me into what You have called me to be. Because I am ready and I know that there are things You have placed in my heart, to make a difference in. I am made for more.”
I want to be apart of this journey and help those in need. I am believing and trusting that God will make away for the relationships I will encounter across the world, and He will open new doors!
