As I met/talked with people about my fundraising, I was asked often where does the money toward my trip go. I understand these information may be not very interesting, but I hope it is helpful for those who are considering to donate.
- Training Camp – $348 (October 19-29)
- Field Support – $697
- World Race Development Program – $2090 (Includes the general World Race fund to grow the program and our international relationships)
- Administration Fees – $2961 (Includes all expenses such as our Accounting, IT, Human Resources, Donor Relations, Marketing and Development departments)
- World Racer – $11321
The (World Racer 65%) will be the actual expense of my trip for 11 months and here is the breakdown of it.
- Intercontinental Travel – $5094
- Food – $1472
- Lodging – $2151
- Transportation – $1245
- Long Distance Travel & Misc. Supplies – $1359
Additional expenses (not covered in the $16,285)
- Vaccinations and Medicine
- Gear (backpack, tent, sleeping bag, etc.)
- Travel expenses to and from training camp
Financial Deadlines
- 1st Deadline: $5000 – Due 9/23/2016
- 2nd Deadline: $10000 – Due 12/16/2016
- 3rd Deadline: $13000 – Due 02/28/2017
- 4th Deadline: $17417 – Total Due 04/30/2017
How to Give
- Online – Simply click on the “Donate” button on this page and you can make a one time, monthly, quarterly, or annually donation (No processing feel will be charged)
- Mail in check – must be made payable to “Adventures in Missions” with my name (Chun Lee)in the memo line. Please mail only one check per envelope, as checks are processed mechanically. Mail to: Adventures in Missions, PO Box 742570, Atlanta, GA 30374-2570
- EFT (Dynapay) – Go to http://adventures.org/dynapay to fill out an online form for a monthly Electronic Funds Transfer from a checking account. No transaction fee will be charged for donations made through EFT.
