Happy Valentine's Day! Now is that V-day or D-day? 

Got you running through my mind like ESPN Instant Replay. 

And that "you" I'm referring to isn't in my present now. 

Not equally yoked with anybody, no I'm not hitched to a plow. 

And the plow's not a diss, cause men, we reap what we sow. 

And the gardening we're doing is more like paving a road. 

You see we've hardened our hearts to the way we perceive our women. 

We think that if they're not looking "sexy" then they're not truly "feminine." 

But what is sexy turns to lust, and sometimes lust is not enough. 

So I think it's smart for women to respect themselves and cover them up. 

You might think you're looking hot, but I think modesty is hotter. 

Would you wear those skimpy clothes around our heavenly Abba Father? 

Now I'm not saying wear a snuggie, although there's a time and a place, 

But ask yourself what not to wear when you meet God face-to-face. 

You see, as a man of God, I want a woman whose all heart. 

Don't want her features to define her and that's just the start. 

She must put the Savior first cause she was bought with a price. 

Jesus took the nails for her and He laid down His own life. 

She must be willing to pray each and every day. 

Must be a lover of the scriptures and actually abide by what they say. 

I'm not saying that she's perfect. Men, that doesn't exist. 

So if you're looking for Mrs. Perfect, go on and scratch her off your list. 

All I'm saying is that I don't want her to idolize me, 

Or the celebrities she's seeing on MTV. 

You see the glitz and the glamour will never really satisfy. 

You could have the power, fame, and fortune but without Christ you're living a lie. 

They say diamonds are a girl's best friend, and yes, those gems sure are precious, 

But the best friend I want for my future wife is the solid rock of Jesus.
