Lesotho: The land of the tallest mountains and brightest stars I have ever seen.

Hello friends and family,

There are many who believe Jesus does not establish miracles anymore. There are many stories I could tell you that would contradict this skepticism. One story I will share because not only did it rock “B’s” world, a local who lives at the ministry base, but also mine and everyone who opens their heart to faith when reading this.

It was our first day here in Malea-lea, Lesotho when we were walking down in the valley meeting chiefs and getting to know our surroundings. The frigid morning air of the mountainous land forced us to bundle up in as much clothing we packed. What’s worse is that the clouds decided to rain down on us sending a hurendous lightning strike. We were waiting for a truck to come pick us up while we were waiting under pine trees which grew next to a medal fence. When the electricity hit the ground it traveled to where we were joined by a resounding snap. I, still thrilled by the storm, look over to see B on the ground unconscious with spasming muscles. A fear crossed my mind that she was dead but I felt The Spirit moving and quickly reached for her pulse, it was beating. Not a minute later the truck pulled up, immedietly it started hailing. My team and I briskly worked together to put her body in the cab of the truck while the rest of us hopped in the bed. The drive to the nearby clinic consisted of impulsive tears and yearning prayers. We arrived at the clinic, but before taking her inside, Daniella, who has the gift of healing, starts praying and we all start praying. The moment we said “Amen” her eyes flickered open and her fists loosened from posturing. My heart leaped, chills ran down my body, and my soul fluttered. She then was taken inside for medical examination where Kristen, one of my squad leaders, prayed for her mind to become aware etc.. The same thing happened, right then she started moving her body and even stood up. On the ride home, not 10 minutes later, I was sitting next to B rubbing her hands trying to warm them up, still stunned by what I just witnessed. Fast forward to the next day, I wake up to the glorious snowy mountains and peeking out of the window, my eye spots B jump roping with her friends, moving about as if nothing had happened.

Jesus was The God of miracles in The New Testament? No He IS The God of miracles.
