Hi everybody! My name is Christy McFarland (I can also go by Christianna). I am 22 years old and about to launch on the biggest missions trip of my life!
I am the second of six children, 3 girls and 3 boys. I also currently have 3 other “siblings” of sorts, 2 girls and a boy, who live with us. My family is really close so leaving everybody for 11 months is going to be hard, but when God says go, it’s time to go.
I have known for a good portion of my life that God has called me to be a missionary. I am hoping that God will use the World Race to help me see what modern day missions are like and what God is doing around the world, as well as to maybe give me a picture of what He is planning to do through me. I am fully expecting that God is going to use this trip to do the tough work of transformation, but it’s absolutely worth it.
