During our time on the field we have been to countless churches, listening to services in many different languages and with people from every walk of life. At times there were translators or the word was given in English but more often then not the service was in a language we could not understand.

Now on the race we are encouraged to have quiet time daily, spend time studying the word on our own as well as with our teams, spend time worshiping God and also finding him in everything we do from day to day.

Worship music has come to mean more to me then ever before during my time on the race. God has always spoken to me more through music then any other way. It has always been my favorite part of church services, long drives, singing it out in the shower, and dancing around my house. Since we do not always get a ton out of the Sunday services we extend, and to be honest my time with the Lord is not always what it should be, music has been such a blessing. Being able to turn on my worship music while walking places, sitting in my room, waiting to start ministry or even during time with our team has been such an encouragement to me.

I am so thankful for the privilege of having music in a language that I can understand and relate to.  There is always a song that can fit what you need from the Lord, love, brokenness, healing, strength, understanding, or even a smack back into reality. God is good through it all and shows himself to us in such incredible ways.

So I would like to end with a note asking for help as I continue this race. If you have any suggestions of worships songs please feel free to send them my way. If you have a special meaning behind why you enjoy them or what they mean to you please share that as well.  You’re welcome to send them through Facebook or Instagram messenger or you can attach them in an email , [email protected]
