At training camp, one of the AIM staff members spoke about choosing to live in the land of abundance or the land of lack. We weren’t designed to live in the land of lack – as God’s children, we were created with destiny to live in the fullness of His riches and blessing – to dwell + bring others to the land of abundance. I came across a poem (below) someone gave me a few years ago and was reminded of this concept – God is beyond our expectations and the boxes we try to fit Him in – His affection for me, for you is endless – there is NO end to the affection He has for you – and because of this – His blessings, His favor, His purpose is of much greater magnitude than many of us care to even dream…or think about.
GOD is SO MUCH MORE…
He is not the God of the “half-empty” or “half-full” in our lives –
He is the God of the “exceedingly abundantly above all we could ask or think”.
His will for us is not just joy, but “great joy…”
not just peace, but the “peace that surpasses understanding…”
Not just love, but “fullness of love…”
Not just to be a conqueror, but to be “more than a conqueror”.
When He fills our cup, it is “overflowing”.
When he flows through us, it is as “rivers of living water”.
When He meets a need, He does it out of “His riches that are in Christ”.
May the Lord bless you with His love, peace, and joy today. I encourage you all to journey with me over these next 11 months – some of you have been with me for 22 years – some for a season – some for several years, months, or maybe we’ve never even met. So family, friends, strangers alike – join me and prepare to be blown away by the Kingdom work God does through my squad this year!
