One of our squad-leaders spoke during debrief about the importance of rhythm.
Something that stuck with me was that, “Our strength is in our diversity.”
Rhythm is crucial. It is essential.
For us to move as one, as a squad, we must synchronize and find our rhythm.
Coming into alignment with one another gives us strength to move forward as ONE.

Rhythm brings unity.
When we march to the same beat – we move as one.
When we sing the same melody in our various parts we produce harmony.
We were created to live out the rhythm knit within us.
We were designed to operate and move in accordance with the rhythm of Creation itself.
We are part of that creation. We are part of God’s rhythm.

The book of Psalms time and time again calls out, “Shout for joy all the earth.”
It beckons creation to rise up and produce a sound of praise unto the Lord.
All of creation groans in waiting for the Lord.
The rocks cry out.
Life sprung up when God spoke.
The rhythm of His voice produced life. It still does.
The rhythm of His voice moving in and through us produces growth and transformation.

Rhythm is found in so many things…
your heartbeat
your pulse
breathing
your feet touching the ground as you run or walk
the way you communicate/speak
the sound of rain, thunder, and wind
the beat of a drum
a symphony
dancing, etc.
The bottom line here is this:

God created us for a life of rhythm together.
We were made for community – to live and operate as FAMILY, the body of Christ!
This is a lifestyle, not an experience.
