I’ve been trying to blog for the last hour…and the words simply aren’t coming.

Month 11, so many faces, so many stories…I felt the Lord prompt my heart to simply REMEMBER.
I was told recently that there was a video done accounting the story of a horrible accident in Africa that happened to 8 members of the P-squad in November. I decided to watch it to remember…
A four minute video took 1 hour to watch on Malaysian internet, but it was worth it. Why?
My God did this! This is just one example of what it looks like to live for a God of MIRACLES.
I still remember returning from our crusade that night…and being pulled aside, Our team gathered together with another team and instantly started to pray. I remember feeling dizzy and sick to my stomach. All we knew was that some of our squad-mates were in a bad van accident – and they would update us as soon as possible.
The night before the accident, our team had spend the night praying for the squad, team by team – the Lord had impressed them on our hearts. Shawndell even drew a picture of chaos and disaster as we prayed. Something was stirring, but we weren’t sure what. As we prayed for Tommy Sullivan’s team, we lingered longer than any of the other teams. We prayed for their protection and for the LOVE of God to surround them.
I remember we were all crying – and fighting for our brother. We looked out at the driveway to see our African brothers and sisters huddled in a tight knit circle. I heard the most beautiful sound. They were praying with all their might for us, and for Tommy, and for the parents of our squad-mates, they were calling on God’s miraculous hand to bring full strength and healing to His body. They gathered us into their circle and we began to sing. It was Heaven on earth…

Each of my squad-mates has written their rendition of the accident on their blogs. I would highly recommend you checking out blogs from: Caleb Galloway, Stephanie Woody, Natalie Swartzendruber, Daniel Durick, Juliette Steele, and Tommy Sullivan, just to name a few.
