We had the privilege of celebrating an American-Malawian Thanksgiving this past Tuesday.

Gathering together with 30 of our dear African friends – we prepared a feast fit for kings, and came together as family…remembering what we have to give thanks for, and laughing lots.

A power outage made the evening festivities an adventure – and we praised God that all the food was cooked before hand. Together we dined and played the THANKFUL game…

Family. Fellowship. Food. Festivities. We had a blast!

This Thanksgiving season – I’m thankful for…

1) Family (USA, Canada, World Race, etc.)

2) Daily opportunities to live out God’s great adventure for my life
3) Food + shelter + clean water
4) health and protection
5) The Word (freedom to study, read, and speak about -it’s my life source)

Happy Thanksgiving from Malawi, the warm heart of Africa!!!
