Friday we spent the day at Jubilee speaking with the women about beauty + God’s love.
We decided to call this “Esther Day”.
Esther was a mighty woman of faith – with a heart that chose to trust God + she saw the Lord move!!

We challenged the women to declare the phrase “I am a daughter of the King” in response to “Who am I?”

Also, the secret is out…I can braid hair…and now I do almost every day.
Braiding Denisa’s hair was a special treat – because she rarely participates in girly things.
She decided that since my braiding skills could facilitate ‘corn-rows’ that this was acceptable.
We love making silly faces…and this was an epic moment of staircase humor!
The more time we spent here…the more the days are starting to resemble a JUBILEE.
PRAY that the JOY of the LORD will multiply in this home – and these women.
PRAY that freedom will reign – and the LOVE of CHRIST will heal wounds + scars of their orphaned pasts.
