4 flights and roughly 20 hours later my team and I have arrived safely in the Dominican.
Many of us bunked on the airport floor waiting for the whole crew to arrive. Once it was time to board, with great excitement we made our way through security, baggage checking, and the moment we touched down in Dominican, it was surreal.
We were greeted by two AIM staff members at the aiport and given a unique packing challenge for 50 people…let´s just say we had a good ol´ time of Psquad family bonding on our way to the compound where we are now staying. There´s something strangely unique about sweat, fatigue, and the unknown that fosters beautiful fellowship and relationship.
