Within the  first few introductory questions the woman asked me if I knew who Jesus was. At the sound of His name, I literally felt my entire body relax and knew that this woman was a gift from Him. The evil and darkness that was around me was now completely gone and I was left alone with this stranger and her friend.

After discussing my feelings toward Jesus I asked her if she believed in Him. At first, her answered surprised me, she simply said “I want to believe but I don’t know how.” I never had heard anyone say that. She wanted a relationship with our Creator but didn’t understand how easy it really is to be His child.

We made a date to discuss some biblical questions that she had. At this point I realized that I didn’t even know her name. She told me her name was Joy and I could see why this name had been picked out for her. The Holy Spirit had been at work in her and it showed.

We met up for a date and she began her questions with “How was Jesus born from a virgin?” So much for the easy questions!!! She also asked for proof that God existed and why do Christians celebrate His death. As I heard the questions, which by the way dumb founded me, God put the answers in my head.

I was so amazed. I literally wasn’t even having to think of answers, they were being given to me. At the end of our time together I was simply going to pray that Joy would continue to get the answers she was looking for but instead decided to ask her if she believed that Jesus died on the cross for her sins. To my surprise she said ‘yes.’ I continued to ask her questions and evertime she answered yes. I finally asked her if she wanted to accept Christ as her Savior and she said yes.

We prayed the sinners prayer and talked about her new relationship with the Father. She was scared about ‘The Party’ finding out that she was now a Christian especially during this point in her life.

I now realize that the night I was under attack didn’t have anything to do with the woman I was with, it had to do with Joy. Satan didn’t want to lose control over Joy and he didn’t want me to meet her. Whereas I thought the evil had won that night, it in fact lost!! God won!!!!! We now have a new sister in Christ inside a closed country that is hungry for the truth. Praise God!
