Tomorrow we will be heading into a closed Asian country for the following month. During this time I will not be able to post blogs or check emails due to security concerns.

The first two weeks we will be doing a cultural exchange program where we will be learning about the culture of the country for part of the day and then helping students with their English for part of the day. Hopefully during the one-on-one sessions we will develop relationships with these students and be able to share with them about Jesus at a later time. (We’ve been told that these sessions are usually monitored and we will have to be careful of what we say.)

After the cultural exchange program, we will be heading somewhere else for a couple of weeks but at this time I don’t even know where I’ll be going.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE! It’s an ironic time of year for us to be heading into a country where we have to even watch saying the word “Jesus” out loud when our country is getting ready to celebrate the pilgrims arrival in the US for religious freedom.

God Bless!
