So much has happened in the last month. God has been thick within our ministry and I could not have asked for a better month in Nepal.
A typical day in Nepal looked like:
Starting the day off worshiping with the squad and hosts
Spending one hour reading scripture, praying, and asking God to lead us
Loving people in slums, streets, hospitals, and wherever the Holy Spirit led us
I have been asking the Lord to break my heart for a specific people group. I expected it would be a group such as the poor, rich, handicapped, enslaved ect, but He has been breaking my heart for my squad. They are my second family. Spending the month living in one house with 44 people has it’s benefits and drawbacks. The biggest benefit is the community. There is always someone around to talk with encourage, and be encouraged. The biggest drawback? Community. There’s no getting away. There’s no such thing as real alone time and there’s always distractions.Besides one hour of silence in the morning, there’s little time to process this thing called the World Race. I am now in Thailand and all of the teams in my squad will be heading to different cities. We will be working with children who are victims or at risk in the sex trafficking industry.
Prayer Points:
1) That I would learn how to take “alone time” to pray, listen, read, and think without being distracted
2) Boldness and passion for my whole team
3) Continued unity
4) Radical faith and trust for myself and my team
5) The ministry team Mosaic will be working with
Thank you all so much for your prayers and support! I’m only a few hundred dollars away from being fully funded on the field!
