Well as I sit here and type this blog with just my right hand. Because I’m holding a baby with the other hand.
I think of how truly blessed I am to be here at Micah House in la Colorado, Yoro, Honduras.
This is our ministry site for month two. It is a children’s home.
What is a children’s home it’s a place that has lots of children kind of like an orphanage but the big difference is that many of these kids do have parents they just can’t take care of them or choose not to take care of them. Also all these kids do now have parents the people that run this place. They are a young couple that are from the states and now they have 39 kids and live in Honduras. What a change of life.
So just some things about this place there are 39 kids here they, evvbvvvfvbgf fgfffttt(that was one of the kids). They are aged from 1 to 12. We start the day with worship and devo time. And then what we call toddler time. We spend from 9 till we lunch entertaining the toddlers. Then we have lunch and then nap time. That’s right we have nap time. Then in the afternoon we help tutor kids in school. They are almost done with this year so they have test and things like that. Then dinner then bed time for the toddlers and we entertain them so the nannies can wash them all before bed.
So we get lots of time with kids which has been great for me. It has grown my love of kids to something new.
Prayer request: There are several kids here that need your prayers. One that has a lazy eye – please pray for healing. One that has tumors in his eyes and cannot see he also cannot walk. Please pray for Gods strength to fill him and for his eyes to be healed. And then there are two that are developmentally challenged please pray for God to teach them in ways they understand and also healing for them that they may develop like a normal kid.
