So what does a deck of cards and the world race have to do with each other?
Yup that’s kinda an odd combo, but they also are truly amazing together.
This past weekend Saturday in to Sunday the squad did a pray vigil at debrief. And like the last one that the team did we structured it all similarly. But instead of one person praying for the verses, we all took a card from a deck of cards, and they each meant a different time slot. And we then prayed over each card and got a verse for the card, the only person that knew which card went with what time slot was myself cause I was the one organizing the prayer vigil. The reason is that truly I was the one that was given the idea to do it on a team level and then during debrief I was asked to organize the one for the squad.
But back to the cards, each card had a different time slot and ever card was taken and prayed over, when each person returned them they wrote the verse references on the card, and the verses of course inspired by God we each perfect at the given times. But even better is that I was given the suggestion to take all the suits and then working from the Ace to the Queen to type up the verses without references or anything but the verse. And well they are amazing, they are all coming in a blog near you… Are you ready?
