Well thats right I have started month 11, so that begs the question of what is it that we are doing and where I am i in the world. Well we are in Port Elizabeth now.
We are partnered with a church lifehouse family church, we have been working with the youth group and also with a school that works in a township near by.
The school is a primary school up to third grade, and so far we have only been able to visit it, but this next week we will be doing some cleaning and some painting nothing like finishing the year off painting like I started with in month 1. This School works with the township kids, which is much like a slum, but also was where the blacks were placed during the apartheid. The kids speak xhosa, not said the way it looks, this month I will be learning some of a laugaue with clicks in them, so we will see how that goes. O and also its and old boy scout camp.
Church youth group wow, this is like America, while the other one is like africa. Its a white, church for the most part, it is full of drums and guitars and bands and the such, it reminds me of my old youth group. We are going to camp with them, in Jbay, so we will have to see how that is. But should be good.
Church is like America for me, but its a little different in a good way, its a charasmatic baptist church, and I really like it, it has the homeyness of my own baptist background, but the spirituality of the Race. Its more of the type of church that I want to be a part of.
Well this is my month pray that it is a good trastion back to america
