CGA started just over a week ago.

What have I been up to in that time? Well a lot of things. After moving in, we start by just getting to know everyone and hanging out, learning more about the next year of life and also some paper work, you know all that fun stuff you get to do. I went to church last Sunday at a church named Revolution.

Then on Monday we went to the AIM office for the weekly staff breakfast and worship time. Then for CGA it was off to the woods where we went on a hike, we each had teams and it was really good to be out on the trail; got to challenge myself along with helping others on their trip. On the third day out it was our solo day, and I really got to be just with the Lord. He took me back to the days of the race to things that I thought I was done with but he isn’t so I’m not either. He told me it’s time to pick up his protection and lay it on others around me, that His protection and He is what it’s about not simply protection, but His protection for His is so much better than our own.

It was really cool to just have a day with him and me, and no distractions like the computer your reading this on, so take some time and get away just spend it with Him and let his love poor over you.

We got to go to Six Flags yesterday , which was great, lots of rain but with great people and it did stop raining and then we got to ride a few rides.

This next week is ramp up week. Its where we get an idea of where we will be placed for our apprenticeships and also will get to hear a few speakers, then the next week we start our labs and apprenticeships.
