Well we know that racers have a different vocabulary than most of the rest of the world. Words like ATL, feedback and team time mean quiet different things to racers than the rest of the World.
But looking back I thought that was some of the last of my words with new meanings, but yet here I am writing this blog. When I got to CGA we talked about living in God’s presence a lot, but that was simply the way we talked about it, sometimes we would use the phrase seeking the fathers heart or being in outer holy space, but all of that has change there is a new phrase in town, and there is a story that goes along with it.
For that we must go back to October of last year, Worship track went to Training camp to lead worship and to serve. Yet when I look back that was one of the biggest blessings we could have got, that is where we became a family, that is where we grew and that is where words got new meanings. We already had the phrase sweet chocolate, but even that one has faded, the one that is strong and I think it will keep going cause it was the simply a gift that God gave us to know about, and share with the world around us. Well are you ready for it, it’s the River. I know a simple word like River. You might be thinking really, well yes, but the river is the place of His love, we want to always be in the river, we want to pull people in the river, the river is where life is abundant and we see healings, its where joy is fullest cause it is God in each of us.
But how did God give us this knew word, well it goes back to a prayer that his heart is like the river, I know that it was a prayer that it came out of but honestly, I’m not even sure what was said, but I knew that it touched my spirit. And next I know Josh was strumming and we had a new song. That song is an anthem for us here in Worship track; it has so many verses, and is such a blessing, but to think that we in worship track are River Dwellers that we live in His Presence at every moment.
Thinking back I feel so blessed to have learned about the River and jumping into it, that I can’t get out, that I am one now pulling people in.
I pray that you would jump into the river, come on in, it is amazing.
