So the great news that everybody has been waiting to hear!!! We actually found out not this past Wednesday, but the Wednesday before about the DNA results. Drum roll please…Michael is NOT the father of Kaleb! There was a 0% chance of him being the father. I think I also said something about him having the chance to see Kaleb the last time he was here…supervised visitation. Well, that was actually a court order. When my dad told our lawyer that Michael never called and never made an attempt to see him, our lawyer said it was all over. Between not following the court order and him not being the biological father there is no chance of him getting legal custody of Kaleb. Praise the Lord! Kaleb is staying here with us! So, who is the father of Kaleb? We have no idea. Penny took that to her grave. I’ll let you know for sure when my parents actually have full legal custody of Kaleb when the papers finally go through. It is a huge relief!
Announcement!!!
If you are going to be in the DFW area on April 1st, the Applebees where Penny worked is hosting a benefit night for Kaleb’s college fund. It’s all day long, and 15% of your bill will go towards Kaleb’s college fund. We are asking all of our friends and family, their friends and family, and their friends and family to go to the Applebees on I-20 and Cooper in S. Arlington. It’s on the south side of I-20 in the shopping center with Mardels. It’s going on all day, so even if you’re just passing through stop by Applebees and grab a bite to eat or a snack or something like that. They gave us flyers, but I’m sure if you told them you wanted to donate to Kaleb’s college fund you could. Let me know if you want some more information about it by leaving a comment.
