Launch started on Tuesday where all the squads gathered once more, but this time it wasn’t just for a week like Training Camp, no, this time it is for the beginning of the 11 month long journey we have all signed up for.
M Squad is going Costa Rica
N Squad is going to Ecuador
O Squad is going to Honduras
P Squad is going to Mozambique
I wasn’t sure what to expect at Launch, but it has been amazing. It is still unbelievable that tomorrow at 3:30pm my squad will be on their way to Ecuador!! We will spend the night in Quito and then Saturday morning Team Luminous will be on their way to Huaticocha (6 hours from Quito) in the amazon and working with Ninawachi Mission School doing work with the community and construction 😀
Things that have been amazing at Launch:
1. Seeing everyone from N Squad!! I'm just so blessed with everyone on my squad.
2. Spending time with Team Luminous and sharing a room with Kylie, Cherissa, and Katie
3. God spoken truths from the speakers: Bill Swan, Holli Scott, Steve Baysden, and Noe
4. N Squad bonding time like praise and worship time, prayers, Phase 10, etc.
5. Having a comfy bed and hot water for showers, little luxuries that will not be available on the Race…
6. God's everylasting presence and constant provision
I'm so pumped and excited for how God is going to be glorified through all of us and how much more of Himself will be revealed.
