From January through April this year, my fellowship, Beacon, went through the book Radical by David Platt. After reading this book and really evaluating my life I realized how stuck in a bubble I was. Don't get me wrong, it is a good bubble and I am truly blessed by God. I have a good job, a great community of believers, a loving family, amazing friends, and stability. Somehow, I still couldn't help to think if there was something more for me out there.

One day, I was hanging out with my friend, Grace, and she asked me if I have ever heard of the World Race. I told her I hadn't and asked what it was. She told me it was this missions trip where you go to 11 countries in 11 months. I was intrigued immediately because I love to travel. What may have seemed like chance or randomness I believe to be God's provision because after Grace told me about this trip I looked it up and decided to apply. I wasn't sure what to expect, but since I have been accepted and am now going, I trust that God wants me on this trip and desires to show me more of his grand plan for my life.

I am really excited for this trip and new journey 🙂
