Please see the photos below for a brief re-cap of the World Race journey I was on. Most photos are mine but do credit Rodiz from Bolivia for one and Kylie Fujimoto and Mindy Johnson for a couple of them as well πŸ™‚

So as everyone knows the World Race started in January and Team Luminous had lunch with Patty’s parents in DC! πŸ™‚

Then Team Luminous headed to the beautiful Huaticocha, Ecuador (straight into the jungle) to help with construction and taming the land for the missions school being built and spent an awesome month there with Team Reckless Pursuit.

From Ecuador we headed to Trujillo, Peru where we spent the month with the rest of the squad helping out with Inca Link and the orphanage that they were building.

From Peru, it was on to Santa Cruz, Bolivia for a couple of weeks with YWAM and helping them with the construction of the rooms for future DTS students and helping out at a baby orphanage.

From Bolivia headed over to Europe and to Dragonesti-olt, Romania! We helped out with Pastor Raul and his church and I got to teach Chinese!! This was probably one of my favorite months πŸ˜€

From Romania we went to Ukraine and it was time for Team Luminous to do Ask the Lord (ATL) and the Unsung Heroes Campaign (UHC) so it was a crazy month, but God showed up in big ways and we met a lot of amazing people and had quite a number of adventures! πŸ™‚

From Ukraine we went down to Africa and spent time in Port Elizabeth, South Africa working with Cora and Andrew and the Lighthouse Church as well as with Peter at the Human Dignity Centre and with Peter Morkel going to different townships.

Left South Africa no longer Team Luminous and became Team Heartbeat in Maputo, Mozambique where we worked with Pastor Eduardo’s church and family to do prayer ministry.

Then it was Swaziland and we all got shuffled around! I was part of Team Eden based in Nsoko and got to share life with 1/2 the women of N Squad πŸ™‚ We worked with Erica at the AIM base there and played with children, harvested vegetables and painted.

In Thailand there was one more shuffle and though we stayed Team Eden there were minor changes. We worked with Margie and Mike and got to work with Help Thailand in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Met a lot of adorable children and also helped machete and pull weeds to clear the land.

Cambodia was next and we were in Kampong Cham working with YWAM and playing with children as well as teaching English.

Last, but not least came Malaysia. In Penang we helped with YWAM once again, working with Kawan (a homeless shelter) helping to serve lunch and breakfast and doing night ministry. We also worked with the Adventist Hospital helping them to raise money for their Heart Patient’s fund and doing chaplaincy.

Overall, it has been quite the journey and a very memorable 11 months. God is good and He has revealed Himself in incredible ways the entire Race. I am forever changed and will always remember N Squad and the time spent in each of these wonderful countries.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me these past 11 month πŸ™‚
