It just hit me that i haven't given everyone the most recent update. So here it is:
Several weeks ago O Squad learned when and where we will be leaving from to start our journey. Our Race offically starts January 8th! We will be leaving out of DC – I know, i know, such a loooong way for me to travel lol (if you don't know i live just outside of DC). And our first country will be Honduras!
What will i be doing in the mean time? Well after spending 6 months in Alabama with amazing friends who have become family, and working 2-4 jobs…I will try to kick back and relax some in Virginia and North Caralina as I visit family over the holidays. I will also be packing and repacking my WR gear to make sure I have all that I need.
Speaking of which – I know, off hand, that I still need an airporter (a bag to put your pack in so it doesn't get damaged when you fly). So does anyone have one that they are willing to let me use?
