I am obsessed.

 

Obsessive is not enough to describe how I have been writing just about every night before I sleep only to have to sift through my entries when I have internet access (on Tues and Sat PST in NZ at the moment) to figure out what to share with you guys. I have started a second blog entitled “Spiritual Advance”. While the World Race blog will be more focused on the work that is done abroad, my other blog will capture events happening in the lives of those around me as well.

About The Spiritual Advance

My writings will reveal the work of a miraculous and living God as I journey around 11 countries in 11 months with people from all over the United States and Canada. I long to unveil the hidden truth of Jesus and proclaim how the words of Scriptures are relevant and real in people’s lives.

I was reading Mark in the Scriptures and thought to myself, there needs to be someone to write about how God is moving today. How is Jesus loving today? Where is the Holy Spirit revealed in the world today? There is an Old Testament and a New Testament in the Bible to “testify” to what the living God did in that time. How about today? I will tesitfy.

The stories in the Bible seem almost unbelievable at times because of all the miracles that imperfect people experienced through their epic journey in the past. However, as followers of Christ step into God’s adventure, He will show up in such unfathomable ways that the human imagination could not constructed. Our great failure is in wishful thinking, we only hope that God will show up. We box in God and what He will do in and through our lives. He has created a rumble in my soul and stripped away my ability to comprehend Him. He will open the box of your mind and embrace your heart to let you know the truth and truly KNOW the one who is trustworthy.
